Jack, Judy, & Jackie Ragains
We remember Candy mainly as a little girl growing up and even then she made a big impression on both of us. Sometimes life seems to get in the way of being closer to our friends and families. This should not happen, but it does everyday. What can anyone say that makes things better for all the loved ones left behind. Hold on to God, family, and friends and your memories for strength in this sorrowful time. I have penned a poem for Candy of how I think she would like to be remembered.
Remember me,
As the gentle wind
That touches the trees
With a sigh,
Remember me,
As the gentle rain
That falls drop after drop
By and by,
Remember me,
In the sun that rises
To shed its warmth
On each and every day,
Remember me,
In a moon’s soft glow
As it reflects the light
On the water of a calm bay.
Remember me,
In all of the different colors
That decorates every acre
Of Gods beautiful land,
Remember me,
As time that goes by
In an old hourglass
With each passing grain
of sand.
