Condolence: We remember Candy mainly as a little girl growing up and even then she made a big impression on both of us. Sometimes life seems to get in the way of being closer to our friends and families. This should not happen, but it does everyday. What can anyone say that makes things better for all the loved ones left behind. Hold on to God, family, and friends and your memories for strength in this sorrowful time. I have penned a poem for Candy of how I think she would like to be remembered.

Remember me,
As the gentle wind
That touches the trees
With a sigh,

Remember me,
As the gentle rain
That falls drop after drop
By and by,

Remember me,
In the sun that rises
To shed its warmth
On each and every day,

Remember me,
In a moon’s soft glow
As it reflects the light
On the water of a calm bay.

Remember me,
In all of the different colors
That decorates every acre
Of Gods beautiful land,

Remember me,
As time that goes by
In an old hourglass
With each passing grain
of sand.

Condolence: Eddie, Darlene and family,

My heart aches with yours! Losing a child is the hardest thing a parent can do. Lean on God, family and friends and you will get the strength you need to face all of the tomorrows left to come.

We love you all.

Condolence: My memories of Candy are many. One that sticks out in my mind is when she or Amy one, was driving us to town, for what I don't remember. But, we were in a van and she had a whole slew of us. The van broke down on Kibler Hwy. and all of us little ones were freaking out. Candy sat there thinking for a bit and finally looked back at us and said, "Ya'll, shut up! Shut up and pray!" We did and finally Candy decided that we all needed to walk to the house just up the road to call Uncle Eddie. It all lasted only about thirty minutes, but seemed like hours. But, Candy's wisdom in her young years even pointed toward knowing that God would help us if we just prayed. I've thought about that often since we lost Candy. Her words are still ringing in my ears. She knew, even then, what we all needed. I love you all, so very much. Thank you, Aunt Darlene for bringing that wonderful soul into our lives to love. She was just the most beautiful creature who gave back exactly what she was given, whether it be love and compassion or a good argument. She will always be in our hearts and our wonderful memories.

Condolence: Candy was one of the most loving people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. There was never a time I saw her that she didn't give me a big hug and say "I love you Courtney Jean". Her smile could light up a room, and she ALWAYS had a smile on her face. She loved her family and friends so much. She was such a beautiful, sweet, and caring woman. I know she is looking down on all of us right now, her and Kaylen, with a big smile on her face, knowing how much we all loved her. I have so many memories with her, it's hard to think that I will never get to see her again here on earth, but I know heaven is just that much better now that she is there. One day we will meet again and I will get to give her a big hug and tell her I love her, just like she always did to me.

Condolence: I got to know Candy better over Summer School. We had so much fun together. She talked alot about "peaches", so i would come home everyday after work and endup calling my dog peaches because i had heard it so much!
She also talked about Daniel getting married, how she couldnt wait for the wedding. Its a tragedy that she is gone. I went into the cafeteria today and just lost it. Its gonna be weird not seeing her in there. She will be missed.

Condolence: If tears could build a stairway and memories make a lane, I would walk right up to heaven and bring her home again.. The times I spent with Candy always included laughter. I am so sorry for your loss. I thought so much of her and had just hugged her last week at the store.
