Albert “Joe” Hickerson, 60, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 in a Little Rock Hospital. He was born on November 4, 1953 to Newland B. and Zula Estelle (Earls) Hickerson. He was a retired car man for Union Pacific Railroad and a member of the River Valley Golf Association.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow the service under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Teal of the home, two sons, Josh Hickerson and Jacob Hickerson and his wife Lydia both of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two daughters Ashley Gust and her husband Nick and Ashley Barto both of Fort Smith, AR; two brothers, Floyd Hickerson and his wife Ann and Raymond Hickerson and his wife Pattie both of North Little Rock, AR; two sisters, Linda Stueart and her husband Hank of North Little Rock, AR and Joan Talley and her husband Charles of Hohenwald, TN and four grandchildren, Maddix and Marley Hickerson and Aiden and Mya Gust; his nephew Allen Tarver and several other nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with friends from 12:00-2:00pm prior to the service.
