Condolence From: Jack Studdard
Condolence: my condolences to the Hickerson Family. i grew up down the street from ya'll. next door neighobr to Raymond for a while.from the 4th grade until he was a senior, joe and i were always together...from calling ball games in Burns Park...to being arrested at 9yrs old for skinny dipping on the side of the freeway...the most memorable thing for me was the day tha JFK was assinated...i was in the 5th grade...he was in the 6th. Amboy was dismissed as soon as the anouncement of he shooting...we were walking across the playground andd he turned to me and said...the wrose part about this is tha tLyndon Johnson will be the president...i was stunned...i was stunned...i wasnt sure what JFK did much less if he had a repalcement lined up,,,i mean i was a typical kid....i still to this day think of that and tell the story marveling over his profound statement at such a young age...

Condolence From: Lee Webster
Condolence: Oh what a great guy Joe was. When he and I were together playing golf we always had a great time laughing and cutting up and it was always quarter a hole. We both were so competitve. Seven years ago Joe and I went to Kinder, La together to an Indian Casino & Resort and played golf, gambled , went to comedy shows together and just had a blast.Joe had a big heart for people and especially his kids. There is something that he always did when he hung up the phone or was saying good bye to his kids.....he would always say " I LOVE YOU" ! Now there is a loving dad. I will miss you Buddy ! Lee
