Fond memories

I so remember the Saturday before Maxine's entry into heaven.  We sat on the bench (which we had so many times).  We talked about everything that day, Katy,Zach, Peter, Mike, Cindy and lots about Ms. Lilly.  We talked about how proud she was of each of them and what they had accomplished in their short lives.  We had given Lilly the tea cart set a couple days prior to that and she was so proud of it.  We talked about her moving in with you to finish her life.  She was excited but hesitant.  Looking back, maybe she knew something.   I will cherish that morning forever and my (our) friendship with her.  She was a very important part of our lives.  May the memories of her make this anniversary bearable.  We never get over a death, we just get thru it.  Our hearts go out to you this week.  May God's love comfort you and your famly.
