Maxine J. Johnston, 81, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in a local hospital. She was born in Waltreak, Arkansas to Chester and Lizzie Emberson Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by both her husband Jerry Johnston and her daughter Lori Coltrain. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
A family held graveside memorial service will be 2:00PM, Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Egypt Cemetery in Waltreak, Arkansas.
She is survived by her son, Michael Coltrain and his wife Cyndi of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Zack Coltrain of Little Rock, Arkansas and Caitlyn Kilbreth and her husband Peter of Barling, Arkansas; one great granddaughter, Lily Kilbreth of Barling, Arkansas; two brothers, Rube Williams and Larry Williams both of Waltreak, Arkansas and two sisters, Ina Simmonds of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Darlene Owens of Waldron, Arkansas.
