Jerry and Helen were a very big part of our young lives. They were our neighbors for many years, and we became such good friends.  I remember one time when my husband was injured and had to be off work for six months. things were very hard for us at that time,  but those dear people were always having us over for dinner, and even slipping us a few dollars, and I know that was hard on  them, as they had three children to feed and clothe, but it didn't stop them.    Jerry was a true friend.  He was the one that got my husband a job at Chase Bros. Dairy that lasted twenty years.  We shared so many fun times with that family.  The  memories are many.  I am sure  that my husband Alton and Jerry  are singing some of those good old gospel songs as they are praising our savior.
