Jerry Lee Sharp, 80, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in a local hospital. He was born on December 2, 1934 in Huntington, Arkansas to Thedford and Addie Cummings Sharp. He was retired from the milk industry and had worked for both Chase Brothers and Foremost Dairies in sales and management. He was a member of Cavanaugh Free Will Baptist Church and was preceded in death by one son, Rickey Sharp.
Graveside services will be 10:00AM. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Hartford Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife Helen of the home; one daughter, Lisa Sharp Franklin of Van Buren, Arkansas; two sons, Jerry D. Sharp and Mickey G. Sharp both of Fort Smith, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home.
