Recall

#1 Can't tell you the year but I was quite young.  However, I DO remember how EXCITED everyone was when your mom won/recieved an Amana Freezer.  In my minds eye, there was a clipping from the newspaper/magazine that was ciculating among the Christ Crew...maybe that was before the Round Robin; don't remember that detail either.  At any rate, it was a red letter day and if that freezer was as good as everyone thought Amama would be, it is still serving someone with flying colors!

#2 We were on a furlough and had a delightful time with you mom and dad, probably 1987 or so.  It would not do but what we went to Fayettville to eat catfish.  My daddy said that was always a treat Russell liked to share with them, too.  My parents truly enjoyed visiting your parents and Marcus felt a tie of understanding with your dad that was greatly appreciated by me.

It was my joy to be the receiver of the RR from your mom once I took up my parentls place in that family connection.  I know snail mail and writing is soon to be a lost art.  Perhaps we can pick up the threads with the fast pace of keeping in touch...please know it will be special for us.

Bless one another with conversation from your hearts and may your memories and recall become more and more precious as healing comes to each of you in this time of grief.
