Imogene Mathews, 92 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 in a local nursing home. She was retired manager from the Arkansas Revenue Office in Van Buren and a homemaker. She was a member of the Oliver Springs Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Esther (Christ) Canada; one sister, Sarah Canada; three brothers, Roy, Doyle & Jack Canada.

Funeral service will be at 10 AM Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She was survived by two sons, Kenneth Mathews of Siloam Springs, Aubrey Mathews of Van Buren; three granddaughters, Audra Peters, of Mountainburg, Kim Spiking of Denver, Colorado; Susan Mathews of Fayetteville; one grandson, Rusty Mathews of Siloam Springs; four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Hall, Ronald Smith, Richard Marion, Terry Canada,
Todd Brammer, Barney LaRue, Don Martin
Family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
