Lisa Hire, 57 of Van Buren passed away Monday, September 26, 2016. She was a Phlebotomist at a local hospital. She was a Christian and is now home with Jesus. She enjoyed photography and landscape design. Lisa loved her animals, especially her two pugs, Dixie and Duke. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ruth Oakes Bergwerk.

She is survived by four sisters: Lynn Bergwerk of Memphis, TN; Tisha Bryan of Richland, WA; Laurie Bergwerk-Gibson of Cincinnati, OH; and Ann Clanton of Tampa, FL; one brother, Robbie Carden of McDonough, GA; Fred Wells, a special friend from Van Buren and her two pugs, Dixie and Duke.

Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. No Formal Service will be held.
