Lowell Barnes, 86 of Cedarville passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in a local hospital. He was a truck driver for Arkhola Sand and Gravel Company in Fort Smith and a farmer. He was a member of the Shamrock Church North of Cedarville. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Harris.
Funeral service will be at 10 AM Monday, October 12, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by his companion, Ilene Delisle of the home; one son, Butch Barnes of Mountainburg; one son-in-law, Jim Harris of Kibler one brother, Jimmy Barnes of Kibler; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 2-4 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be James White, Lee Pixley, David Jones, Jerry Butler, Ray LaRue and Troy Hopkins.
Honorary Pallbearers are Brian Box, Greg Smith, Alan Ward, Roger Fears and Clyde Smith.
