Lucille Young DeVore, 80, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Highway to Heaven Church in Alma. She was born February 4, 1936 in Mountainburg, Arkansas to the late Edward and Lucy (Mackey) Young. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Leroy DeVore and 8 siblings.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Parks Cemetery near Winslow.

The family will visit with relatives and friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.

Survivors include three daughters, Lucy Beauchamp of Van Buren, AR, Glenda Vanourny of Mountainburg, AR and Denise Swafford of Burleson, TX; one son, James D. DeVore of Locke, AR; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Wilkes, Shawn Fuller, Stephen Vanourny, Samuel Vanourny, Elisha Vanourny and James Vanourny.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Bassham, Steve Bassham, Archie Bassham and Eddie Webb.
