Phillip Lee Ramsey, Sr. 50, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 in a local hospital. He was born on November 11, 1965 to Archie and Elizabeth (Wright) Ramsey in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a former Physical Therapy Technician at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center and a member of Harvest Time Tabernacle Church.
Funeral service will be 11:00AM, Friday, May 27, 2016 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Burial will follow the service.
He is survived by the love of his life for 27 years, his wife Susan of the home; six sons, Justin Best of Fort Smith, AR, Phillip Ramsey, Jr. of Kansas City, KS, Charles Ramsey of Kansas City, MO, Jamaroe Best and his wife Terri of Hackett, AR, Jaron Best of Rogers, AR and Jarod Parker and his wife Yvette of Fort Smith, AR; three brothers, Andy and Tim Ramsey of Kansas City, MO and LaRon Ramsey of Knoxville, TN and ten grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Thursday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
