Proudly Serving the Families of Fort Smith, Crawford County, and Sebastian County
Thanks for doing this fine work on the anniversary of Pastor Bobby's ascension.
In reviewing what was said a year ago, a few more tributes came to heart.
We both played sax with great enthusiasm.
Bobby had contagious energy and good humor, as did his faithful wife Pam, who noted on Mother's Day she got to do all the cooking and housework with shared laughter.
Bobby had a caring heart, evidenced by the life-changing Saturday bus rides for the children bringing them to food, fresh clothes and services.
Bobby had a strong and faithful heart that made him a track champion and powerful preacher who carried the torch for the Olympics and elevated lives.
He inspired outstanding adult Sunday School and Wednesday services before and after the main Sunday Services with outstanding choir and music ministry, led by MIckey Gilley's cousin, now led by Pastor Gary. (We share our birthday.):

Bobby moved near my soon-to-be 90-year-old mother, who loved his services and TV gospel outreach. He liked to ride his ATV out in the country.
And now VBFA moving services are on-line:

Like our Redeemer, He inspired the best in us.
I think of that often as I approach his age and try to inspire daughter in Guadalajara Medical School and and son in Aspen enterprise to a richer life.
I am gratefiul to have known Pastor Bobby and worshipped with him and his brothers and sisters who shared housing, inspiration, work and loving companionship.
Love to all,
Richard Charles
