When I was off studying at the University in Munich I once got very homesick and called my Dad from a phonebooth. He didn´t ask for long explanations. He said: "Stay where you are. I will jump into the car and bring you home." It dried my tears instantly. I assured him that I felt better already and he didn´t have to come after all. He said: "Don´t forget, if you need me, I am just a phone call away...". Just knowing, that no matter how bad things get, I could always call my Dad and he would come and help me, driving hundreds of miles if necessary, that feeling has supported me all these years.
