Lonnie Fay Symonds, 64, of Alma, Arkansas passed away at his home Saturday, January 10, 2015. He was a retired supervisor for Arkansas Carbide Company.
He was a Baptist and a former resident of Hartford, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Durfrey and Anna Katherine Symonds.

Funeral service will be 1 PM Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Survivors are his wife, Mona Symonds of the home; a daughter, Alisha Hampton of Alma; two sons, Lloyd Alan Symonds of Hartford and Lonnie Ray Symonds of Fort Smith; three brothers, Robert Symonds of Van Buren, Thomas Symonds of California and William Symonds of Los Angeles, California; five grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Symonds, Brandon Symonds, Joe Russell, Michael Sweeten, Mark McMillon and David Russell.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 5 to 7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
