Mary Lou Maxwell, 84 passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2014 in a local hospice home. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Van Buren. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett & Ora V. (Hammock) Maxwell and one brother, William Maxwell.

Funeral service will be at 1 PM Friday, November 7, 2014 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by her cousin Jo Jaycox and husband, Joe of Bella Vista, AR., Linda Collier of Belleville, IL, Frank Peterson and wife, Helen of Cincinnati, OH.
