Virginia Symonds, 89 of Van Buren passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 in her home. She was a homemaker; a resident of Van Buren since 1950; a member of the New Hope Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Symonds.

Funeral service will be 11 AM Monday, September 22, 2014 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Bradley of Van Buren; two grandsons, Charles Bradley and wife, Traci of Fort Smith, Chris Henley of Van Buren; four great grandchildren, Julian, Matthew, Madeleine and Jade.

Pallbearers will be Chris Henley, Charles Bradley, James Harris, Grant Symonds, Bob Watkins, and Michael Bowman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Vickery, Lon Barbee, Jerry Gill, John Symonds, and Dennis Harris.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 4:30 to 6:30 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
