E.J. Howell, 83, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in his home. He was born in Stigler, Oklahoma to Charley H. and May F. (Fant) Howell. He was a self-employed Camper Manufacturer and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Stella, by his son Eddie Howell, two brothers, J.D. and Bob Howell and three sisters, Roberta Smith, Dorothy Yoakam and Lois Kolbe.
Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Monday, April 7, 2014 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Jerry Howell and his wife Kristy of Springdale, Arkansas; a daughter, Cheryl Walker of Las Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren, Jake, Matt and Charlie Howell, Richard and Shawn Hartman and Michael Hernandez and Nine Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jerry Howell, Jake, Matt and Charlie Howell and Richard and Shawn Hartman.
The family will visit with friends from 2-4PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
