It was a pleasure to know and get to be a friend to Cecil. He is someone who will never leave my heart as a true friend. Cecil had so many personal assets from generosity, spirituality, pure empathy, humility and intelligence just to name a few. While at his visitation I visited with several who i never even knew he was acquainted with and most everyone one of them commented on his intelligence. Cecil and I shared a love for aviation and his knowledge of aviation was truly amazing. Cecil had a heart as big as Texas as he was always there to help anyone in need and would literally give them the shirt off his back. I know he made me a better person just to have been there to listen to his many stories and his opinions. He is one I will never forget and always have a special place in my heart.
