Condolence: I had hoped to attend the funeral but only got the announcement via ASBOA after the fact. Mr. Peters was one of the all-time great dads. I remember being a bit intimidated when our trumpet lessons first began as he would stand by the door, leaning on the file cabinet the entire time. Soon I realized that it was his way of showing support for his son. God bless all of the Peters family in this difficult time.

Condolence: Oh, the good times we had chaperoning and traveling with the VBHS Band. You worked so hard and was such a role model for the kids. You were a dear friend with an ever present smile and good humor. We will see you again one day, sweet friend. God's comfort and blessing for your sweet family.

Condolence: Jackie was a friend and my brother in Christ. I will never forgot the singing group we had at church to which he directed. One evening he stopped us and said to think about this. "Imagine that Christ is standing right there in front of you, sing like you are singing to him." I will never forget this. Good man with a good heart! Will miss Jackie.
