Mary Patricia Swearingen, 92, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 in a local hospital. She was born on April 10, 1924 in Holyoke, MA to Edward P. and Mary (Eagan) Marriott. Mary was a homemaker and a care giver for Elder Care and a member of God’s House of Prayer Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Swearingen.
She is survived by her daughter Marie Swearingen and her fiancé Michael Breedlove of Fort Smith, Arkansas and three special friends, Charlotte, Bonnie and Kathy.
A memorial service will be at 1:00PM, Friday, September 23, 2016 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas the family will visit with friends following the service. She will be interred at a later date at Bellview Memorial Gardens in Augusta, GA with her husband Leon. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR.
