Grace Evelyn James, 83, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mulberry. She was born November 1, 1932 in Mulberry, AR to the late Floy and Grace (Adams) Jackson. Also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby James and a grandson, James David Crockett.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Mulberry with interment in Hight Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherri Roe and husband Ricky and Lisa Crockett and husband John all of Mulberry, AR; one son, Barry James and wife, Robin of Mulberry, AR; one sister, Joleta Frazier and husband Tommy of Vinita, OK; one brother, Fount Jackson and wife Doris of Riverside, CA; 9 grandchildren, Travis and Brandi Roe, Jesse Roe, Aleasha and Shawn King, Ashley Crockett, Jacy, Cody, Ben, Caitlin and Dylan James; 5 Great Grandchildren, Joby, Braelyn, Colton, Haley and Savannah.
Pallbearers will be Davey Edwards, Kenny Edwards, Ricky Smither, Fred Moon, William Tobey and Jimmy Moore.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Ladies Sunday School Class of Mulberry First Baptist Church.
