Viola “Vi” Chitwood, 83 of Van Buren passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and a former employee for Langston Drug Store in Van Buren.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with a burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth Chitwood of the home; one son, David Chitwood of Van Buren; one brother-in-law, Dennis Chitwood of Fort Smith; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Charles Wimberly, James McGhee, Johnny Jack, Johnny Ragsdale, R.W. Ocker and Darrell Bailey.
