Brenda Kay Judkins Cristee, 57, of van Buren, Arkansas passed away on November 28, 2015 in her home. She was a graduate of Northside High School in Fort Smith. Brenda was an artist and dearly loved to paint. She had worked at Robertson, Beasley and Smith Law Firm before becoming ill with cancer; she fought a long battle since December 26, 2006. Her favorite flower was the sunflower, she liked that it grew tall and was able to look down at you and smile. She was a member of the Encounter Church in Van Buren. Brenda was preceded in death by two daughters, Amy Nicole Cristee and Rebecca Jane Spicer, her father, Thomas Ray Judkins, her paternal grandparents, Timothy Radius and Oral Evelyn (Brown) Judkins and her maternal grandparents, Clyde C. and Leona Agnes Odle.

Funeral services will be 1:00PM, Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Amber Cristee of Arkoma, OK, Douglas Cristee and his wife April of Alma, AR and Katie Spicer of Scranton, AR; one grandson, Kaden Kerklin of Arkoma, OK; her mother, Jane Ann Judkins of Fort Smith, AR; two brothers, Larry Judkins of Marana, AZ and Thomas Judkins of Fort Smith, AR; two sisters, Linda Judkins Eslinger of Yukon, OK and Carol Ann Judkins Webb of Gans, OK and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends.

Pallbearers are Kaden Kerklin, Steve and Phillip Odle, Jace Edwards, Ken George, Brad Platner and Douglas Cristee. Honorary pallbearers are John Beasley and Tom Robertson.

The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR.
