Johnnie Lee Thompson (J.L.), 71 of Roland, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 in a local nursing home. He was the owner/operator of a trucking company in Moffett. He was of the Assembly of God Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents John S. & Edna (Massey) Thompson.

Funeral services will be 10AM, Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Sarah Grove Cemetery in Cedarville under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his daughter Tammy Sue Jackson and her husband Malcolm of Greenwood; one brother Warren Thompson of Van Buren; three grandchildren; and many cousins.

Family will visit with relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 5-7 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.
