Obituary for Betty Lou Doering (Zingariello)

Betty Lou  Doering (Zingariello)
Betty Lou Doering, 74, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 in her home. She was born on January 8, 1941 in San Pedro, California to Louigi and Pasquala (Bentancourth) Zingariello. She retired from food services at Northside High School. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Doering, one sister, Shirley Herrin and her brother, Victor Hewlett. Betty was strong in her faith, she was raised Catholic and attended Evangel Temple where she would volunteer in all aspects of the Church but was mostly involved in the Food Bank program. She had a generous soul and shared in her time, treasure and talents to everyone from special needs children to St. Jude Hospital to animals as well as strangers that she may have just met, but most of all she loved her family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Doering, Sr. of the home; two daughters, Dawn M Doering and Jaclyn Haynes and her husband Theodore all of Fort Smith, AR; two sons, Robert Doering, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO and Alan Doering of AR; two sisters, Virginia Meirer of HI and Jeannine Schoessler of Portland, OR; one brother, Edward Hewlett of CA; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A family held Memorial Services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Fianna Hills Baptist Church in Fort Smith, AR.
