It's hard to believe it was 20 yrs ago when Carlene, Erika, me, and my daughter Angela all went to Washington D.C. for history day. We had a great time! Carlene and I shared a room and our girls shared a room. I remember one evening sitting in our hotel room watching the O.J. Simpson "chase" on tv. Yep, it's been that long ago.  We all had so much fun that trip and one of the things I enjoyed most was the priviledge of getting to know Carlene. I can't think of a more loving, gentle, positive person! Not easy to share a room with a "stranger", but Carlene never felt like a stranger. I haven't seen her in a few years, but she still has a very special place in my heart and mind. She will be missed. Love and thoughts to her family. Karen
