 Reverend Don Henderson  McKinney
Reverend Don Henderson McKinney, 90, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 in a local hospital. He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Carl and Elizabeth (Casey) McKinney. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Merchant Marines. He was a pastor and evangelist in Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas and was a former pastor at Evangel Temple in the late 1960’s.
Funeral services with military honors will be held at 1:00PM Friday, May 22, 2015 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with a private burial at U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by two daughters, Becky Harris and her husband Don of Fort Smith, AR and Dona Ciociola and her husband Michael of Yuba City, CA; one sister Beverly Morrison of Muskogee, OK; two brothers, Buzzy McKinney of KS and Jack McKinney and his wife Dottie of Scottsdale, AZ; four grandchildren, Michelle Wise of CA, Bransen Harris and his wife Tonya of Van Buren, AR, Michael Ciociola and his wife Kjerstin of Yuba City, CA and Jett Harris and his wife Chrissey of Fort Smith, AR; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hearts of Hope 108 North Hwy 71 Suite 104 Alma, AR 72921.
