Marlin Dale Simmons, 65, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away on April 16, 2015 in his home. He was born on October 6, 1949 in Evening Shade, Arkansas. He was a self-employed master mechanic and of the Christian faith.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Hackett with burial in Heavener Memorial Park in Heavener, Oklahoma. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his two sons, Larry Simmons of Cameron, Oklahoma and Mickey Simmons of Hackett, Arkansas; three brothers, Jimmy Simmons of Memphis, TN and Jerry and Bobby Simmons of Amarillo, TX; three sisters, Hazel Gipson of Shamrock, TX, Mary Cherry of Kansas and Anne Marie Franklin of Sumas, TX; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
