Theron O. McKenzie, 91 of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in a local nursing home. He was a long haul truck driver for Jones Truck Line. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and of the Methodist Faith. He was a past Master of the Masonic Lodge in both Van Buren and Cedarville. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald & Lola (Early) McKenzie, one daughter Janie Turnipseed and one stepson Dennis Padilla.

Graveside services will be 10AM Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy McKenzie of the home; two grandsons Keith Turnipseed and Cody and his wife Emily Turnipseed all of Fort Smith; one son-in-law Stan Turnipseed of Fort Smith; one god daughter Jordan Garcia.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, March 13, 2015 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Dale Wagnon, Junior Bing, Tom Fite, Jim Atwell, David Miller and Phillip Garcia.

Honorary Pallbearers will be all area Masons.
