Mitchell Tyler Phillips, 27 of Greenwood passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Fort Smith. He was employed by Planters Peanuts in Fort Smith; a 2007 graduate of Van Buren High School. He was the children’s pastor at Gateway International Church in Roland, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Murrel Osburn.

Funeral service will be at 10 AM Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

He is survived by his mother, Dana Green of Van Buren; father, Bryan Phillips, of Fort Smith; one sister, Dalana Phillips of Van Buren; maternal grandmother, Ruth Osborn of Van Buren, paternal grandparents, JoAnn & Charles Phillips of Greenwood; two uncles, Greg Osborn of Van Buren, Charles Phillips of Greenwood. one niece, Samarah Matevia of Van Buren; three nephews, Ryan Matevia and Caiden Phillips both of Van Buren, Isaiah Osborn of Muldrow, OK.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 5-7 PM
At Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Gregory Osborn II, Greg Osborn, Sr., Steve Martin, Jacob Coleman, Robert Murphy, Dathan Dilbeck and Landon Phillips.
