Jerry Crowder, 95 of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in a local nursing home. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Van Buren First Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velta Crowder; one son, Jimmy Don Crowder; both his parents; three sisters and four brother.

Funeral service will be at 10 AM Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by five daughters, Patsy Ruth Steward & husband, J.B. of Van Buren, Donna Sue Baldridge, Beverly Patterson & husband, Kenneth and Chris Pope & husband, Ronnie all of Alma, Jeri Brumley & husband, Gary of Kibler; One son, Burl Crowder & wife, Laura of Van Buren; thirteen grandchildren; thirty eight great grandchildren and eighteen great great grandchildren

Family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, December 5, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Brumley, Rick Crowder, Rev. Gary Crowder, Darrell Cameron, David Bray and Michael Bray.
