Mary Nell Griffin, 95, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker, an employee of the Bryant Preserving Plant, a member of the Kibler Assembly of God Church, a member of the Volunteer Fire Dept. District #7 where she was treasurer for numerous years and the widow of I. J. Griffin. She was born June 23, 1919 in Paris, AR to the late James B. and Charity Elizabeth (Eudaley) Milam. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry Dale Griffin; one sister, Marie Firstenburg and one brother, John Milam.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Jimmy Griffin and wife Latricia of Alma, AR and Christy Hurt and husband Ralph of Edmond, OK; one brother, Tom Milam of CA and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Robert, Keith, and Lester Reinschmiedt, Larry Chivington, David Maxey and Bob Teague.
