Rosemary Elizabeth Lovett

Rosemary Elizabeth Lovett, 87, of Fort Smith passed away peacefully at Peachtree Hospice with her daughters by her side on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. She was born February 25, 1927, in Paris, Arkansas, to Leland and Chessie (Cannon) Henderson. She graduated from the St. Edward nursing program in 1948 and was a registered nurse at St. Edward Hospital. She left work for many years to raise her family and when she returned to nursing she was a nurse at several long term nursing care facilities. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Bill Henderson and a nephew Tommy Henderson both of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at Wesley United Methodist Church with private burial to follow at Caulksville Cemetery, Caulksville, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She is survived by three daughters, Vicky Bretz of Fort Smith, Ramona Thomas and husband Lawrence of Fort Smith and Sarah Nally and husband Greg of Greenwood; two granddaughters, Rachel Elizabeth Thomas of Dallas, Texas, and Meghan Rose Bretz of Conway, Arkansas; two step-grandchildren, Kerri Nally of Greenwood and Christopher Nally of Fort Smith; nine nieces and nephews and a dear family friend, Alice Orrick.
