Christine Alice Gillooley, 83, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014 in a local hospital. She was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Jim and Bertha (Beam) Weir. She was a retired line worker for Whirlpool Corporation and a member of River Valley Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd J. Gillooley.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Monday, September 22, 2014 at River Valley Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow in Steep Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Miller of Greenwood, AR and Linda Lemmon of Fort Smith, AR; seven sons, Michael Gillooley and his wife Cathy of Roland, OK, Thomas Gillooley and his wife Suzell of Huntington, AR, Robert Gillooley and his wife Shari of Mansfield, AR, Jeffrey Gillooley of Fort Smith, AR, Randy Gillooley of Poteau, OK, Lloyd Gillooley III and his wife Pamela of Greenwood, AR and Timothy Gillooley of Fort Smith, AR; 23 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Richardson, Brian, T.J., Joshua, Lloyd and Haven Gillooley, Chip Henry and Bobby Wallace.
The family will visit with friends from 2-4PM on Sunday, September 21st at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR.
