Shirley E. Taylor, 77, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014 in a local nursing home. She was born in Sheril Arkansas to Aubrey and Bessie (Streeter) Earnhart. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Oliver Earnhart and a sister, Debbie Kay Earnhart.
She is survived by her three daughters, Connie Taylor of Fort Smith, AR and Teresa Foxworthy and her husband Ivan of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Rebecca Christine Taylor of Poteet, Texas; four brothers, James Earnhart of Lawton, OK and Bill, Tom and Bobby Earnhart all of Fort Smith, Arkansas; five sisters, Christine Little-Holland of Jersy, Arkansas and Vickey Coddington of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Faye Gott, Linda Earnhart and Darlene Montgomery all of Greenwood, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Frank, Clint, Allen, Dustin, Barbara and Courtney and 11 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10am Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Tuesday, September 2nd at the funeral home.
