Carolyn Arnold, 73, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014 in a local nursing home. She was born in Charleston, Arkansas. She was a former bookkeeper for Terminix and was also the secretary/bookkeeper for Arnold Machine Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Arnold, Sr. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of Arkansas Retired Military Association and of Vista Baptist Church.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00AM Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She is survived by her son, Gene Arnold, Jr. of Fort Smith, AR; one daughter, Kathy Padur of Graham, Washington; one brother, Jim Shaver of Charleston, Arkansas; 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several step grandchildren.
