Raymond A. Ruttle, Sr., 96, passed away on July 26, 2014 in a local hospital. He was born in Denning, Arkansas to Louis Theodore and Elizabeth (Ockenfels) Ruttle. He was retired from Harding Glass where he worked as both an accountant and a purchasing agent. He was WWII veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary R. “Gina” Ruttle and by his son, Raymond Ruttle, Jr.
Funeral mass will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife Nancy “Polly” Borengasser Ruttle of the home, two daughters, Carolyn Smith and her husband Joe of Fort Smith, AR and Ann Brabham and her husband Larry of Spring, TX; two sons, Kenneth Ruttle and his wife Mary of Indian Harbour Beach, FL and Dan Ruttle and his wife Brenda of Lavaca, AR; 13 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
Rosary services will be held at 6:00PM, Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Pallbearers are Don Buegler, Derek Smith, Travis Atchley and John Barker.
