Joseph Edward Gill, 64, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in a local hospital. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran from 1972 until 1977 and 1979 until 1981 serving in the Vietnam War, U. S. Army Reserves from 1989 to 1991, a former employee of Exide in Fort Smith and of the Episcopal Faith. He was born July 15, 1950 in Somerset, Kentucky to the late Ward and Clara (Reed) Gill and his Foster Parents, George and Reba Gibson.
Services will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2014 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with cremation under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Gill of the home; one daughter, Kristie Brocato and husband Scott of Olive Branch, MS; three sons, Kevin Flesner and wife Michelle of Perryville, AR, Brian Flesner and wife Heather of Golden, IL and Tim Flesner and wife Elizabeth of Newbit, MS; 4 sisters and 3 brothers; 13 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
