My wife and I moved to Arkansas from Kansas in 2007. Shortly after our first vist to Freeman Heights, Truett and Marian came to our home and welcomed us into their church family. Marian treated me like her son and she took a special interest in my mother's health during those years as my mom battled breast cancer and then later went to be with Jesus in 2009. Truett and Marian even offered to babysit our son Zane when he was only 4-5 months old. He screamed all night until just before we arrived home from our date and was peacefully sleeping. Generous, caring, loving, encouraging, humorous-Marian, we will miss you. While we may miss you here-what a glorious homecoming it must have been for you as you met Jesus face to face!
