Condolences

Condolence From: Ken Gibson
Condolence: It was a joy to have known Nannie Mae the past 40+ years and to serve as her pastor for 7 years. I always enjoyed visiting her whether in her home or at the Rehabilation center. She always had such quick wit. What a blessing with such a long life and such a legacy to leave her children, grandchildren, greats and all the rest.

Condolence: It was an honor getting to know Nannie the past 3 years. I greatly enjoyed the pictures of her when she was younger; so vivacious! You are all in my prayers.

Condolence: Granny, you were the matriarch of our family and you carried that title proudly. You were a strong woman, a stubborn woman, a tough ol' gal (in your words) and yet one of the most tender souls under it all. We always had a place to go no matter what and I'm sorry I didn't realize that as a child. It took becoming an adult to realize all the sacrifices made by loved ones like yourself to make sure we were always taken care of and loved. You came from an age long past that no one this day and age can fully understand or appreciate, but you shared your stories and your life with us as and adult today I look back on those experiences and I appreciate greatly the modern luxeries and conveniences I have today. I hope to pass on your knowledge and strength into my own children and I will share your life with them through pictures and stories. I love you and although you were 98 years old, I still can't believe that you really are gone now. Please tell Grandpa hello from all of us left here and we'll see you both in God's due time.

Condolence: I so remember Mrs. Breeden's columns in the Press Argus. She wrote very well, and her insight and information were wonderful. I'm sure she will be missed by you all very much. Sending my prayers for happiness and healing for you all.
