Wilma Elaine Harrison, 93, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at home surrounded by loved ones. She had spent time during her career working for Dixie Cup and also raising poultry. She attended Vine Prairie Baptist Church in Mulberry and in her free time she loved to sew, crochet, embroidery, garden and read. She was born March 17, 1930 in Cassville, Missouri to the late E.H. “Bud” and Thelma (Chappell) Beck. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 56 years, T.J. Harrison; daughter, Naomi Melton; son, James Marcus Harrison; brothers, Maurice Beck, Bennett Beck; sisters, Naomi Patrick, Georgia Johnson, Ada Gaddy, Hazel Martin, Norma Loveland, and Marie Shelly.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma with interment to follow at Pope Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM, Friday, May 12, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Pallbearers will be Steven DeWater, Mark DeWater, Brent Meadors, Cody Chanthaseny, Timothy Harrison, and Jacob Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren.

Wilma is survived by her sons, Wendell Harrison of Mulberry, AR, Roland E. Elkins and wife Mary of Kibler, AR, Erskin Wayne Fritch; daughters, Linda DeWater and husband Vernon of Mulberry, AR, Ellen Eakin of Alma, AR, and Winona Julian and husband Clay of Mulberry, AR; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
