Obituary for William Christopher Fourthman

William Christopher Fourthman went to Heaven Monday, March 20, 2023 in his home in Fort Smith, Arkansas with his soulmate Helen and his little dog Suzie by his side.

He was born March 17, 1960 in Muncie, Indiana to William H. and Delores A (Higgins) Fourthman. Chris attended Evangel Temple and was formerly in the Army National Guard. He was a heavy equipment operator for 10 years in Sarasota, Florida and often said that was his favorite job. Chris was a lover of NASCAR, good steak, fishing, watermelon, grapes and golf. He loved his family and was very protective of them. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, his mother, father, and his uncle Donny and several other members of his family that he loved so much.

The last ten years of his life were spent with Helen in Fort Smith, Arkansas. They spent all of their time together and thoroughly enjoyed each other's company. They went out to eat, fished, and spent hours telling each other about their lives. He became very close with her family and friends.

He was survived by his sister Erin Fourthman Stump of Muncie, Indiana and Eric Fourthman of Florida. He was very close with them and considered them some of his best friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, April 15, 2023 in Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
