She was retired from the Montebello Unified School District as a secretary at Bell Gardens Adult School in Bell Gardens, California. She was preceded in death by her father Vincent Hernandez; her mother and step father Stella and Marvin Morgan.
She is survived by her husband Orlando Duran of the home; two daughters Crystal Wiederhold and husband Conrad of Escondido, CA, Kianii Duran of Ontario, CA; one son Gentry Duran of Sasebo, Japan; two sisters Sandra Mendez of Los Angeles, CA, Sylvia Morgan of San Diego, CA; one granddaughter Brianna Wiederhold.
