Obituary for Silbino "Bino" San Nicolas

Silbino “Bino” San Nicolas, 70, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born on April 24, 1952 in Piti Village, Guam to Juan and Dolores (Jones) San Nicolas. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran. Bino was a member of Cavanaugh Church and enjoyed being active in the Cavanaugh Church Bass Club. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Madison San Nicolas and two brothers, Allen and Pete San Nicolas.
Funeral services are 1:00 PM, Monday, February 20, 2023 in Cavanaugh Church with cremation to follow under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
The family will visit with friends from 2-4 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers are Cole and Landen San Nicolas, Brennan Butcher, Brian Lichford and Andy Curtis.
He is survived by his wife Diane San Nicolas of the home; a son, Scott San Nicolas (Micca) of Cave Springs, AR; a daughter, Stephanie Butcher of Fort Smith; a brother, Kenny San Nicolas of San Diego, CA; three sisters, Rose Rothlisberger of Bentonville, AR, Lilian Harber of Fort Smith and Lena Allen of San Diego, CA and seven grandchildren, Katelynn Curtis, Breanna, Britney, Brennan and Breklyn Butcher and Cole and Landen San Nicolas.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cavanaugh Church Bass Club, 2828 Briarcliff Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72908.
