Shirley Jean Hodkinson, 85 of Van Buren passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 in her home. She was a longtime employee of St. Edwards Hospital and Cooper Clinic in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her father McKinley Arnold, her mother Vianna Arnold Testerman; ten brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be at 10 AM Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Gracelawn Cemetery Arbor in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren. The family will visit with relatives and friends Monday, November 27, 2023 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

She is survived by two daughters Kim Alexander and son-in-law Joe Alexander of Van Buren, Elizabeth Nohra and husband Mike of California; one son Gerald Hodkinson II of Van Buren; eight grandchildren Angela Rodgers and husband Phillip of Alma, Shandra Freeman of Van Buren, Emily Sivage and husband Brandon of Fort Smith, Trey Hodkinson of Fayetteville, Anna Railey of Mountainburg, Shawna Henderson of Oregon, Natasha Morris and husband Brandon of California and Catie Nohra of California; twelve great grandchildren Mariah and Shad Hayes and Dillon Alexander and wife Kate, Cadence Freeman, Matthew and Heaven Rodgers, Julie, Luke and Dawson Sivage, Jayden and Arthur Henderson and Preston and Jeremiah Morris; two great great grandchildren Maggie May and Mia; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Cadence Freeman, Dillon Alexander, Trey Hodkinson, Matthew Rodgers, Brandon Sivage and Mark Brown.
