Shirley Ann Joy, 81, of Alma, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Monday, August 21, 2023 at a local rehab facility. Shirley was a member of Vine Prairie Baptist Church in Mulberry, AR. She was born March 2, 1942 in Mulberry, Arkansas to the late Dal and Bertha (Cunningham) Shepherd. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, S.D. Joy, and several siblings.

Funeral service will be 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.

Shirley is survived by her son, Carl Joy and his wife Stephanie of Tulsa, OK; grandchild, Chase Joy of Tulsa, OK; sister, Betty Darter; and a very special friend, Harrel Vaughn.
