Obituary for Sharon Faye Jennings (Featherston)
Sharon Faye Jennings, 66, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 in her home. She was born on January 25, 1957 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Herbert T. and Ella Mae (Lynn) Featherston. She was retired (32 years) from Rheem Manufacturing, while employed at Rheem she was a mentor with the Partners in Education for the Fort Smith Public Schools. Sharon was a life time active member and volunteer at Victory Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Glenn Featherston. Sharon loved her family and was always ready to help them in any way she could, she will be greatly missed by them all.
She is survived by her husband, Dave Jennings of the home; a step son, Dillon Jennings (Alex) of Fort Smith, AR; two sisters, Barbara Davidson of Pea Ridge, AR and Susie Odom of Poteau, OK; a brother, Gary Featherston (Linda) of Mansfield, AR; sister-in-law, Diannah Featherston of Edmond, OK; nieces and nephews, Audra Shirley, Shawn Sigler, Mike and Chris Odom, Jennifer Knight, Darrel and Brian Hood, Kelly Aiken and Todd Featherston and several great nieces and nephews and one great great niece.
A family held memorial service will be 10:30AM, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Victory Church, 3912 Brooken Hill Dr. in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Burial will be private.
A family visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7Pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to either Victory Church 3912 Brooken Hill Dr. Ft. Smith, AR 72901 or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR.
